Privacy policy
How Fale Alfa collects, uses and protects your personal data, and how to exercise your rights under the LGPD.
This policy explains which personal data Fale Alfa collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what your rights are under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018).
Who the controller is
Fale Alfa Language Solutions Provider Ltda, company ID 10.383.365/0001-04, present in Brazil, the United States and England. For privacy matters: davi@falealfa.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: name, e-mail, phone number and the message you write.
- Level test: name, e-mail, chosen language, test answers, resulting level and the date of the scheduled interview.
- Test purchase: the billing details required to raise the order and issue the receipt. Card details are handled directly by the payment provider and never reach our servers.
- Browsing: technical data stored in cookies, such as pages visited and language preference.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and present proposals: steps preliminary to a contract.
- To run the test, schedule the interview and issue the certificate: performance of the contract you enter into when buying the test.
- To issue invoices and keep order records: compliance with a legal obligation.
- To understand and improve how the site is used: legitimate interest, whenever you accept cookies.
Who we share it with
Only those needed to deliver the service: the payment provider, the e-mail service, the interview scheduling tool and the hosting provider. We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third-party advertising.
International transfers
Because we serve Brazil, the United States and England, some of these suppliers process data outside Brazil. Where that happens we require contractual clauses that preserve the level of protection the LGPD sets out.
How long we keep it
Contact messages: up to 2 years after the last exchange. Test and certificate records: 5 years, the period during which a certificate may be presented for validation. Tax documents: for the period required by tax law.
Your rights
At any time you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, portability or deletion of your data, and withdraw the consent given to cookies. Write to davi@falealfa.com and we will answer within 15 days.
Cookies
We use necessary cookies, which make the site work and cannot be switched off, and measurement cookies, which are only stored after you accept the notice shown on your first visit. You can decline in that notice or clear cookies in your browser settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this same page with the date it was updated.
